Youth Equity Ambassador Program
As part of our work to identify and reduce inequities for people with disabilities, The National Center for Disability, Equity, and Intersectionality is collaborating with organizations focused on youth with disabilities across the country. We have appropriately named this group of people our Changemakers Coalition, as we believe our future is more accessible because of their work. As part of our work together, we are aiming to create more leadership opportunities for disabled young people.
The Changemaker Coalition will bring together a national youth collective known as our Youth Equity Ambassadors each year. This group of young disabled people from across the country will advise The Center on the biggest issues facing youth with disabilities.
